The company was founded by Pravin Chauhan, upon the acquisition of the Capri Hotel in Bakersfield , CA, in 1977. Utilizing a strong work ethic and a resilient desire to succeed, Mr. Chauhan continued to build the company by acquiring hospitality assets in the Midwest and Northwest Florida. He has over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry, successfully navigating both the upturns and downturns of the hospitality industry.

The Banyan Tree Companies portfolio presently encompasses hotel, office, and residential assets. In addition, services offered by our firm include hotel development, management, and asset advisory.
